Short o

A couple of weeks ago we taught the short "o" sound. We made a few activities that week to teach words that have the short o sound and for them to be able to identify the sound whenever they hear it. 

We learned a poem that has many words with the short o sound. We watched a video that helps them build and read words. Finally we let the students write 4 words that they had learned that week and illustrate them. 

Un par de semanas atrás ensenamos el tema de el sonido corto de la vocal "o". Hicimos varias actividades para ensenar palabras que contienen este sonido de manera que ellos puedan identificarlo cuando lo escuchen. 

Aprendimos un poema que contiene palabras con el sonido corto de la letra o. Vimos un vídeo que construye palabras y luego ensena a leerlas. Finalmente dejamos a los estudiantes escribir 4 palabras que hayan aprendido durante la semana y las debían ilustrar.
